DESE/DDS Program

The Nemasket Group provides individualized, wraparound supports that help school-age students succeed in their homes, schools, and communities. Services may include skill-building, in-home and community supports, family coaching, and coordination with school teams.

  • In-home and community skill development
  • Family training and collaboration with school teams
  • After-school, weekend, and summertime support
  • Transition planning toward adult life

A student must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for the DESE/DDS Program:

  • Be DDS-eligible
  • Be between the ages of 6 and 21
  • Receive publicly funded special education services
  • Live at home with their family
  • Be at risk of residential or out-of-district placement
  • Be selected and approved by DDS
